GENERAL INFORMATION FOR GRAPEFRUIT ESSENTIAL OIL:

Our pink grapefruit essential oil originates from a sub-tropical evergreen tree grown here in the United States.
The tree originated from Asia and brought to Spain during the 12th century.
During the 18th century the tree made its way to the West Indies and eventually in 1809, to the United States.
The grapefruit essential oil is cold pressed from the fresh peel of the fruit.
Pink grapefruit essential oil is also used in various creams and lotions to help clear oily skin and other skin blemishes. This is a great essential oil to brighten any mood.

AROMA:

PINK GRAPEFRUIT ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES:
Here are a few blends you can try with our cultivated pink grapefruit essential oil. These amounts are for a diffuser in the 100 – 200 ml capacity. Refer to our diffusing guidelines or your instruction manuals to adjust the amount you use for your particular size of diffuser by either adding or decreasing the drops depends on your diffuser capacity.
Freshen the air:
- 2 drops Grapefruit
- 2 drops Bergamot
- 1 drop ylang ylang
Refreshing:
- 2 drops Grapefruit
- 3 drops bergamot
- 1 drop Lemon
- 1 drop Ylang ylang
Fatigue:
- 3 drops Grapefruit
- 2 drops peppermit
- 2 drops Rosemary
Uplifting:
- 3 drops Grapefruit
- 2 drops Sweet Orange
- 2 drops Lemon
- 2 drops Bergamot

Grapefruit can interact with many medications if taken internally, which we do not recommend. Applied to the skin, grapefruit can cause photo toxicity. Avoid overexposure to the sunlight.
