GENERAL INFORMATION FOR TEA TREE ORGANIC ESSENTIAL OIL:
Tea Tree organic essential oil comes from the leaves of a small tree native to Australia. For centuries, the Aborigines have used this essential oil to treat coughs, colds, and to apply directly to the skin for healing. The oil contains a number of compounds that are capable of killing bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Studies have shown tea tree organic essential oil can successfully kill E. coli, S. pneumoniae and H. influenzae under certain circumstances.
For this reason, the oil has been used as a natural hand sanitizer.
Its great to use in a diffuser because the oil has the capability to purify and freshen the area as it disperses. Some claim that the aroma can reduce anxiety and may help to reduce insomnia as well as congestion. The essential oil also has the capability to relieve pain from minor burns, sores, bites, and cuts.
According to a study published in the US National Library Of Medicine, Tea Tree Essential oil can inhibit the growth of bacteria responsible for sinus infections and respiratory issues.
