GENERAL INFORMATION FOR WILDCRAFTED PINE NEEDLE ESSENTIAL OIL:
You know that wonderful pine fragrance that permeates the air around the holidays.
That is what our wildcrafted pine needle essential oil smells like.
This species of pine needle essential oil is distilled from the beautiful tree Pinus sylvestris.
Of all the different pines, this species is the one preferred by aromatherapists because of its fresh, resinous, “piney” aroma.
This same species is what is used in many household cleaning products. The tree grows to about 130 feet tall with slightly orange-red bark and has bluish-green evergreen needles. This is a long living tree.
The aroma is considered by many to be stimulating, energizing, refreshing and purifying. You feel like you are in a bad mood? try some wildcrafted pine essential oil to help refresh your spirits, relieve anxiety, and get rid of that nervous tension.
In Japan, using this essential oil to reduce stress is know as “shinrin-yoko”, which translates into “taking a therapeutic walk in the woods.”
