Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR LAVENDER 40/42 ESSENTIAL OIL:

Our French cultivated Lavender 40/42 essential oil from Artisan Aromatics is made up of 100% natural lavender oils blended to produce an oil that contains 40% linalool and 42% linalyl acetate.  These are the two primary compounds that create the aroma of lavender.

Blending these oils in a specific amount creates a standardized lavender aroma, which prevents a minimum of variation between batches.  Because of this quality, many manufactures that use lavender in their products, rely on the consistent aroma of lavender 40/42 essential oil.

Lavender is the most popular and widely used essential oil throughout the world.  Lavender is extremely safe, gentle and effective to use.  The floral, soft and herbaceous aroma has a way of melting away the anxiety and can help many people to relax.

Note:  There are some sources on the internet stating that lavender 40/42 is not a pure lavender.  This is absolutely not true.  Lavender 40/42 essential oil is made up of 100% natural lavender essential oils blended together.

Aroma plays a vital role in uplifting the body and mind.  Diffusing lavander 40/42 essential oil can increase the activity of the body’s most powerful antioxidants – glutathione, catalase and SOD.  Some people claim that lavander 40/42 can help reduce anxiety levels and can help to relax or even to fall asleep.   Also it has been used to help reduce depression.  Lavander 40/42 makes an excellent room deodorizer.

LAVENDER 40/42 ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES:

Here are a few blends you can try with our lavender 40/42 essential oil.  These amounts are for a diffuser in the 100 – 200 ml capacity.  Refer to our diffusing guidelines or your instruction manuals to adjust the amount you use for your particular size of diffuser by either adding or decreasing the drops depends on your diffuser capacity.
