GENERAL INFORMATION FOR CLOVE LEAF ESSENTIAL OIL:
Our Clove leaf essential oil by Artisan Aromatics comes from a slender evergreen tree that grows to a height of about 40 feet. The entire tree is highly aromatic. Many studies have been conducted about the remarkable properties of this tree.
Clove leaf essential oil has long been known as a rejuvenation essential oil and is remarkably versatile. Not only does it reduce the pain of a tooth ache, the oil can kill the bacteria causing the pain.
DIFFUSER USES:
Aroma plays a vital role in uplifting the body and mind. Used in a diffuser, clove leaf oil can help curb the growth of free radicals. Although there is no scientific evidence, some have reported that Clove leaf oil can reduce stress, refresh the mind, and assist in sleeping.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES OF CLOVE LEAF ESSENTIAL OIL:
Digestive enhancing, anti-nausea, skincare, insect repellent, expectorant, antibiotic, antiseptic, antiviral, stimulant, anti-rheumatic, natural blood thinner, very high in anti-oxidants.

CLOVE LEAF ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES:
Here are a few blends you can try with clove leaf essential oil.
These amounts are for a diffuser in the 100 – 200 ml capacity. Refer to our diffusing guidelines or your instruction manuals to adjust the amount you use for your particular size of diffuser by either adding or decreasing the drops depends on your diffuser capacity.
Happiness:
- 1 drop clove leaf
- 3 drops orange or bergamot
- 2 drops jasmine
Deodorize:
- 2 drops clove leaf
- 2 drops lemongrass
- 1 drop spearmint
- 2 drops orange
Thieves essential oil blend:
- 2 drops clove leaf
- 1 drop lemon
- 1 drop eucalyptus
- 1 drop cinnamon
- 1 drop rosemary
Concentration:
- 2 drops clove leaf
- 2 drops peppermint
- 3 drops rosemary
SAFETY:
Drug interaction may inhibit blood clotting. Embryo toxicity, moderate risk as a skin irritant. May interact with pethidine, MAOI’s, SSRI’s, anticoagulant medications, major surgery, peptic ulcers, hemophilia. Do not apply directly to the skin without diluting first.
